01What is 30000.cn?
30000.cn (三万主机) rents brand-new Mac mini and Mac Studio machines that we own. They run on residential broadband in Vancouver, Canada. Each machine goes to one customer only, with a macOS administrator account, accessed over SSH or remote desktop, billed monthly.
02How much does it cost to rent a Mac mini?
A Mac mini M6 with 16 GB memory and 256 GB storage is US$139 per month with no setup fee. Prepaying 3, 6 or 12 months saves 5%, 10% or 15%. The full price list is at 30000.cn/en/pricing.
03Do I get admin (sudo) access?
Yes. You receive a macOS administrator account and can install anything, enable FileVault and create users. We keep no account on the machine; if you lock yourself out, we can only power-cycle or reinstall it.
04Is it a datacenter IP?
No. Machines are connected to residential broadband in Vancouver. The IP is assigned by the ISP and is dynamic, but rarely changes; we provide a DDNS hostname so your SSH address stays the same.
05How do I connect?
SSH and macOS Screen Sharing are enabled at delivery. With admin access you can also install Tailscale, RustDesk or any remote desktop tool you prefer.
06Is it shared or virtualized?
Neither. You rent the whole physical Mac. It is not split into virtual machines and nobody else uses it during your term.
